Executive Order 14412
Securing the Nation Against Advanced Cryptographic Attacks
Mandates migration to post-quantum cryptography across federal systems and contractor environments, with dated compliance deadlines.
Mission
Both executive orders were signed June 22, 2026. Agencies and their contractors must migrate to post-quantum cryptography on schedule - and track every cryptographic component along the way.
Executive Order 14412
Mandates migration to post-quantum cryptography across federal systems and contractor environments, with dated compliance deadlines.
Executive Order 14413
Establishes federal leadership in quantum readiness and ties innovation policy to cryptographic modernization requirements.
CBOM requirement
EO 14412 requires cryptographic bill-of-materials (CBOM) tracking - organizations must know which algorithms protect which systems, and demonstrate progress toward post-quantum migration before deadlines arrive. Enclave Encrypt (roadmap) is purpose-built for this compliance surface; Sign and Verify are already deployable on Category 5 cryptography today.
